Habitat Description: Forested area along creek, near trail close to entrance to the preserve. Dappled shade.

Soil Description: Sandy soils beneath leaf litter.

Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Erect herb with umbel of white flowers. Faintly striated glaucous stems, that are stained a faint maroon-purple (most obvious at nodes). Growing with: Ulmus americana, Pinus echinata, Clitoria mariana.
