Locality Description: US Army Corps of Engineers Property E of Benbrook Lake. 500 meters WSW of pull off. 450 meters directly W of Old Granbury Road.

Habitat Description: In vernal pool, dry now, of ephemeral stream of a hillslope hollow. Justicia americana, Juncus texanus, and Eleocharis montevidensis are dominate. 90% of plot is bare cracked soil. Plot bordered on stream edge by Bromus japonicus, Helianthus maximiliani, Celtis laevigata, and Ulmus crassifolia.

Soil Description: Duck Creek Limestone. Soil mapped as Aledo-Bolar Complex, benches or backslope ridges. Soil is gravelly sandy clay loam with oxidized root channels.
