Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Sedge past anthesis. Dry plant remnants indicate that this species was rather locally frequent. Few individuals remain that contain reproductive material, of those only the bases of the culms are green, distal ends are yellowing to brown. Tissue samples representing a collected individual and the sampled population are deposited at the Botanical Research Institute of Texas. Samples are available for study upon request.
