Habitat Description: Growing on eroding Walnut hillslope near contact with Antlers sand on a mixed grass slope. With Schizachyrium scoparium, Sorghastrum nutans, Smilax bona-nox, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Symphyotrichum ericoides, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, and Solidago sp.

Soil Description: Walnut Formation. Near Antlers Sand contact. Calcareous clay loam.
