Habitat

Habitat Description: Growing in xeroriparian canyon. Currently dry. Lots of shells, boulders, and gravel at canyon base with walls of alluvial soil. Paluxy Formation still downslope. Growing with Frangula caroliniana, Quercus buckleyi, Sideroxylon lanuginosum, Yucca pallida, Prunus mexicanus, Celtis laevigata, and Fraxinus texensis.

Soil Description: Walnut Formation. Alluvial, shallow soil.
