Habitat Description: Growing in woodland with alluvial influences on backslope of Walnut Limestone glade. Dominant trees include Carya illinoinensis, Maclura pomifera, and Celtis laevigata. Under Sideroxylon lanuginosum and Celtis laevigata. Growing with Symphoricarpos orbicularis, Parthenium hysterophorus, Brickellia eupatoroides, Vernonia baldwinii, and young Carya illinoinensis.

Soil Description: Walnut Formation. Deep clay with alluvial influences.

Plant Notes: Tepals lanceolat,e 4 or 5. Prostrate herb. Seeds 1 mm wide.
