Habitat

Habitat Description: Growing on edge of Walnut hillslope seep near contact with Paluxy Sand. With Muhlenbergia reverchonii, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Iva angustifolia, Palafoxia callosa, Sporobolus compositus, and Croton monanthogynus. Adjacent to see is Schizachyrium scoparium, Quercus buckleyi, and Cercis canadensis.

Soil Description: Walnut Formation. Seepy, eroding clay loam. Shale layer.
