Habitat

Habitat Description: Growing on edge of Walnut Limestone glade near quarried area. Associated woodlands of Quercus buckleyi, Forestiera pubescens, Rhus glabra, and Celtis laevigata. Associated barrens of Yucca palldia, Bothriochloa laguroides, and Schizachryium scoparium.

Soil Description: Walnut Formation. Shallow calcareous gravelly clay loam.
