Habitat

Habitat Description: Eroding hillslope hollow. In ephemeral stream bed. Assocaiated with Allium sp. and Valerianella sp.

Soil Description: Calcareous sandy clay loams overlaying Duck Creek Limestone. Open prairie with Schizachyrium scoparium and Muhlenbergia reverchonii.

Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Herb. Corm often hard to dig out. White flowers with yellow reproductive parts. Faint garlic scent that disappears after drying.
