Locality Description: US Army Corps of Engineers Property E of Benbrook Lake. 500 meters WSW of pull off. 450 meters directly W of Old Granbury Road.

Habitat Description: On terrace of ephemeral stream, erosional side of stream channel about 30 cm above bottom of stream bed. Dominated by annual grasses and forbs, Celtis laevigata on the upperslope of the plot. Dominant forbs are: Bromus japonicus, Eleocharis montevidensis, Ruellia humilis, Aster ericoides, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Desmanthus illinoensis and some Carex microdonta and Muhlenbergia reverchonii. Eleocharis montevidensis and Ruellia humilis dominating the lower east end of the plot.

Soil Description: Duck Creek Limestone. Soil mapped as Aledo-Bolar Complex, benches or backslope ridges. Soil is clay loam to silty clay loam with oxideized root channels.
