Habitat Description: In Walnut Limestone glade near road. Growing with Verbena pusilla, Astragalus sp., Erodium texanum, Tridens muticus, Opuntia phaeacantha, Lupinus texensis, Gaillardia pulchella, Medicago minima, Galium virgatum, Chaetopappa asteroides, Stellaria media, and Ligustrum quihoui.

Soil Description: Walnut Formation. Calcareous gravelly clay loam.
