Habitat

Habitat Description: In open area that is periodically cleared; receiving full sun. Growing with low grasses and sedges, Monarda citriodora, Dracopis amplexicaulis, Polypremum procumbens. Growing next to Sorghum halapense that is >1 meter tall.

Soil Description: Sandy loam soil, at edge of Aquilla soils.

Plant Notes: Herb with mature white flowers. Cone-shaped inflorescence. Leaves with serrate margins. Spreading. Common.
