Habitat Description: On a slope at the edge of an open area that is periodically cleared; receiving full sun. Growing with low grasses and sedges, Monarda citriodora, Dracopis amplexicaulis, Lippia nodiflora, Helianthemum, Rumex, Opuntia, Plantago.

Soil Description: Sandy loam soil, at edge of Aquilla soils.

Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Erect herb with mature flowers from light lavender to a deeper lavendar. Standard is on lower side of flower, and its center is white with deep purple splotches. Three blue-green leaflets, pale green sepals, and yellow-green young leaves. Occasional.
