Lake Houston State Park, along and south of FM 1485, 3 mi E of New Caney; terraces and old slough channels west side of the East Fork San Jacinto River, along South River Trail. [30 07' N; 95 08' W] Low terraces and old channels with bald cypress in long hydroperiod, red maple and palmetto in moderate hydroperiod, laurel and water oak in short hydroperiod areas. Locally common on bare mud of marginal depressions.
