Plant Notes: DENTON COUNTY: 3324'N, 9704' W Ray Roberts Lake State Park, Johnson Branch Unit, between south end of Dogwood Canyon trail and Tejas primitive camping area on west side of Johnson Branch inlet. North east facing slope on outcrops of shaley limestone. Strip of red-oak forest on rocky slope above lake; associates include post oak, sugarberry, cedar elm, red ash, and hedge apple. Dominant, ca. 20 m tall with spreading crown.
